Mega Man Original is an excellent series. One of the best. But while Inafking and the rest have created this amazingly amazing series, it is not without its downs. Here are, in my opinion, Inafune’s worst mistakes.
8. Dust Man (MM4)
Just the name itself is dopey. Might as well call him dirt man. And it has nothing to do with anything he is. Other than being a misnomered piece of junk, he’s not that bad.
7. Cloud Man (MM7)
Might as well call him Ninny Man. At least they renamed him Thunder Man in the BN series.
(EDIT: It has come to my attention that Cloud Man was transferred over directly along with this clonish Thunder Man, and from that you see the real mistake: NOT changing the ninny name of a ninny boss)
6. Spring Man (MM7)
C’mon Inafune-San! Why? It may not be your fault that this idea was sent in, but it certainly was your fault of letting a jumping yoga master into the greatest game series of all time (possibly). I’m sure there were countless ideas better than this. Just… No.
5. Floating Mace Face (MM6)
This one’s just creepy. A gigantic face swinging back and forth is enough to strike fear laughter into even the toughest robot’s cold, metal core… that is until you actually start to fight it. All show and no substance. One of the easiest bosses of the series.
4.Hard Man (MM3)
Another misnomer. I think he was the very first boss I beat… When I was 4! He just looks like a bloated Eskimo with atomic sitting power. You don’t even need a robot to harness that power…
3. Bright Man (MM4)
A robot with a light bulb on his head. “A” for “a”magination! At least he’s difficult, unlike most of the other bosses on the list.
2. Junk Man (MM7)
Yet another boss made out of a pile of trash. But this model’s eyes bulge when you shock him! It even comes in a super-easy-to-beat version!
1. Vending Machine Claw (MM4)
This boss really disappoints. You spend your entire life as a child trying to get that rare Pokemon card in the vending machine, asking your mom for fifty more cents, just one more shot at that unattainable goal. And of course, that snotty dork after you gets it on his first try! I’m not bitter! But bad childhood memories coupled with an easy difficulty and the fact that it stops you before you actually destroy it makes this the number one worst boss in all MM history.
